Caution Dog Leash and Collar was invented in the Summer of 2005. The inventor who has a dog with behavioral issues, was growing tired of telling people to not pet her dog, even though her dog had a friendly face. The inventor bought a yellow tow strap and had the words "CAUTION DOG" silkscreened on the tow strap repeatly. She sewed a hook and handle on the tow strap and began walking her dog down the street. With many positive comments the inventor decided to bring the product to market. In the Spring of 2006, she launched her product at the H.H. Backer pet supplies show in Atlantic City
